This UK-based University ties up with Fulcrum Digital for a Digital Maturity Assessment – Find out more.
The University was already engaged in a multi-year Digital Transformation programme with Fulcrum Digital. As the previous programme delivered the required IT solutions, the University wished to undertake a digital maturity assessment
A thorough analysis of different teams was conducted on a range of parameters like digital culture, digital literacy, and innovation culture.
A variety of surveys were conducted for different focus groups like students, colleagues to capture the right mix of qualitative and quantitative data.
A short engagement between the University and Fulcrum Digital was commissioned to develop a digital maturity assessment model and to pilot it in one of the areas. Library and University Collections, along with User Services, were selected as a part of the pilot project.
Fast feedback for the end-to-end process, creating an opportunity for refinement of the model and/or execution for future phases.
The University colleagues were offered with a capability to build out and run the assessment themselves.
A best-fit model for digital transformation was identified considering the aspirations and current digital journey stage of the University – which can be tracked, reviewed, replicated and scaled. A University-wide digital culture change programme was recommended by Fulcrum Digital to embrace digital approaches.
