Lawn Mower Tire Store, a trusted provider of high-quality tires, wheels, inner tubes, and bearings since 1994, faced challenges in converting mobile traffic into sales. Despite having a robust inventory and fast shipping, their mobile conversion rates were lagging. With a significant portion of their traffic coming from mobile devices, it was crucial to enhance the mobile shopping experience to drive revenue growth. The main issue identified was the visibility of the checkout button, which was only accessible when customers scrolled to the top of the page, potentially leading to lost sales opportunities.
Solution
Fulcrum Commerce launched the Mobile Optimization Initiative to address these challenges. We rethemed to Hyvä to remove the legacy theme bloat and increase performance. On desktop, we moved the cart button to a sticky header that scrolled with the page. On mobile devices we implemented a “Sticky Cart Header” to always keep the checkout button visible, and added a persistent second cart button that remained visible once an item was added to the cart. These adjustments aimed to make the checkout process more accessible and seamless for users, thereby increasing conversions and revenue per visitor (RPV).
