Our client is a prominent public research university in West Yorkshire, England. The University’s IT Teams faced a challenge with Microsoft’s recent announcement to retire SharePoint 2013 officially along with its services from April 2023 without extended support and the discontinuation of security patches making the version obsolete. The Fulcrum team helped the client migrate their current Legal Case Management solution from SharePoint 2013 to SharePoint Online to avoid future hassles.

Solution

Fulcrum did an initial assessment and analysis of their existing processes and designed the automated workflows. We also developed some OOTB (out-of-the-box) features in SharePoint Online, which were well appreciated by the business team. The Attachment functionality was added with the drag-and-drop feature to reduce the number of clicks. Our extended solutions package helped the client to:
  • Enhance User Experience with a better UI look and feel wise
  • Develop the Legal Briefings and Guidance page
  • Develop the View Items screen and the Instruction Types page
  • Migrate data to SharePoint Online
