The client is the premier residential and commercial installation services company on the East Coast and a top installation partner for Home Depot, offering hardwood, stone, ceramic, rubber, and luxury vinyl tile (LVT) installation services.They faced challenges with their server infrastructure availability during business hours as their complete infrastructure on-premise was run without HA.
Fulcrum analyzed their entire Infrastructure and dependency matrix and ran a gap analysis to provide an appropriate solution. We moved their complete Infrastructure, including Web, Application, Database, File Server, and AD, into the cloud. Additional resources for Steady State Support and monitoring & Continuous Improvement and a Centralized dashboard with rich visualizations for log data were also supplied.
The team approached the assessment strategically, taking existing Applications, Infrastructure servers, requirements definition, RACI (responsible, accountable, consulted, informed) matrices, and architectural reviews under consideration. Lift shift techniques were used for the migration. We also implemented an end-to-end support process to monitor and support their applications.
