Role Description
We are looking for a Business Development Executive for our financial services & payment products division. This position will be reporting to the Senior Group Manager- CSG and will have direct relationships with the delivery Team. This role will involve working with the innovation lab to provide direct market inputs on new payments products. Apart from direct sales, expected to participate in pre-sales within the FFS accounts. We are looking for individuals who breathe payments and are passionate about business development in the payments & financial services space. You will be directly responsible for growth of FFS and working directly with CSG, CTO office, Delivery heads, Marketing heads & Executive team
Responsibilities
- Generating new sales & closing the paperwork is the primary role
- Managing the correspondence between the sales team and their clients
- Monitoring customer accounts
- Providing data and reports to help the sales team
- Keeping track of sales targets
- Answering sales related calls and scheduling diaries
To be considered for this role you need to demonstrate
- Knowledge of financial services & payment products like RTP (Real time payments), Open banking & Cross border payments (Desirable)
- Field experience of selling technologies like payment gateway products, chip & card machine, OTP solutions, QR codes & payment portal solutions (Desirable)
- Payments experience in digital, software / IT solutions or SaaS if preferred but not mandatory – however, the candidate should have a level of interest or aptitude in these areas in order to effectively sell our services to customers in the long run.
- Good customer care skills and organizational skills
- Keeping track of sales targets
- Good written and verbal English
- An ability to work under pressure and to deadlines
- Proactive and a quick learner
