Improved Efficiency in Arbitration
through Application Development
A US based national Alternative Dispute Resolution (ADR) organization contacted Fulcrum to develop a new application that would help automate some of the manual tasks required during arbitration, as well as help organize all case-related documents as per a pre-defined structure.
Complete case management solution with case-specific document management facility.
Seamless integration between the applicant, arbitrator, firms and reviewer through a single system.
The client board members needed an application that would manage the arbitration process and related operations. The system was intended to replace all the manual, time-consuming, error-prone activities involved in the arbitration process. The client was also facing a lot of difficulty in storing case-related documents in sequential order. Fulcrum recommended a solution which would help them to organize all case related documents.
Email Notification System
The application developed by Fulcrum comes with a built-in email sending mechanism. The case manager can notify all the parties involved by selecting them. The application provides templates for each case status. When the emails are sent, the application generates the enclosed documents as attachments from the templates. On a case to case basis, the application replaces the details like names, addresses, case number and claim amount in those documents.
The application has the ‘Authorize.NET’ payment gateway integrated with its application. The flow is designed in such a manner that the applicant has to make the base payment in order to complete the arbitration request. In the same way, the respondent can also make the base payment to submit their response.
The client was able to save a lot of time in their daily operations. The system became extremely transparent thanks to the features of the application: online case logging, integrated payment gateway, case specific document management, in-built mail sending mechanism and dedicated reports. The entire process became a lot more user friendly and a lot less error prone.
