Fulcrum agreed to design a platform that would be simple enough for both support staff and attorneys to use effectively.

Our Story

Client management wanted to upgrade their decades-old case management application to overcome multiple technological limitations. This digital transformation would give them an edge in the market by adding multiple new functionalities which would help their business process and streamline their numerous datasets. Fulcrum proposed a new case management tool to provide an organized approach to calendars and task management for attorneys.

Case Management Tool

The new case management tool allows users to enter case data as received and keep track of the case status as the case proceeds. Users can maintain data and monetary values into the tool from start to close. With the new application, each user has defined permissions across the application to assist with maintaining complete security amongst various profiles in the client’s organization.

Dynamic Dashboard

With the Dynamic dashboard capabilities, Fulcrum’s case management tool allows staffs/attorneys to view their most useful data at a glance. The landing page of the tool or dashboard consists of different widgets to access – latest assigned cases to attorneys and their paralegals, upcoming appearances, all open cases, all inactive cases and more.

Results

The Case Management Tool was successfully designed with the user experience of both support staff and attorneys, allowing for effective use. Protection against the loss of data by integrating smoothly with the client’s documents management system enabled them to store and preserve information without worrying about misplacing paper documents and digital data stored only on hard drives.
